Should you consolidate your pensions?

Most people pick up three or four pensions over a career and never look at them again, different providers, different charges, no idea if they're on track. We find them all, compare them, and tell you honestly whether bringing them together will lower your costs and simplify your retirement. Sometimes the right advice is to leave a pension where it is, and we'll tell you that too, because we work for you, not a provider.

Our advice always weighs up the guarantees and exit penalties on your existing pensions before recommending any transfer.

After years of a dormant pension, one meeting and some great advice got it moving in the right direction and gaining value again. Would definitely recommend for pension advice.

Pension consolidation FAQs

Should I combine my pensions?

Often yes, for lower cost and simplicity, but not always. We check for valuable guarantees or exit penalties first, then recommend what's genuinely best for you.

What does it cost?

Your first consultation is free. If you go ahead, our initial advice fee is tiered (3% on the first £100,000, 2% to £250,000, 1% above; minimum £750) and always agreed in writing first.

Is transferring risky?

Transfers aren't right for everyone. As independent advisers we're required to recommend a transfer only where it's clearly in your interest, and we'll show you why.
